Because sunrooms are all-glass, it is recommended to heat and cool them separately from the rest of the house.  There are several products that Malibu Sunrooms uses in achieving its' goal of comfortability.  The typical PTAC unit is the most commonly used.  Just like a hotel/motel unit, this heats and cools using a digital control.  For larger rooms, a split ductless system is used.  The unit sits outside with a wall-mount vent inside the room.  While it is more pricey, this product is so quiet, you will never know if it's on or off.
